Fig Tree Cafe occupies a Marstons Mills location with over 40 years of food service history. Owner Maria Ferguson grew up in Brooklyn, New York, surrounded by Italian cooking traditions, worked across multiple restaurants, lived in Southeast Asia for four years, and earned certification as a Nutritional Health Coach. She took over the space in September 2020, keeping the original staff and menu while adding espresso and barista service, organic smoothies, a dedicated vegan menu, and gluten-free options.
